Ritual is developing a decentralised execution layer designed for autonomous AI agents, allowing them to operate without relying on centralised cloud systems. Instead, agents built on Ritual can manage capital, execute transactions, and function independently on-chain. Its core product, Infernet, is a node network that enables smart contracts to access off-chain AI models and computational resources. The project secured $25 million in a Series A funding round led by Archetype, with participation from Polychain Capital, Accel, Robot Ventures, dao5, and notable angel investors such as Balaji Srinivasan. Ritual launched its testnet in April 2026, while a mainnet release date has not yet been announced.
