Carbon is currently running a points-based incentive program called the Momentum Program, which rewards traders based on their historical activity across more than 30 on-chain exchanges. Points earned through this program may be included in any future token distribution. The program also includes a referral system where referrers receive 20% of the points earned by users they invite, while referred users receive a 10% bonus on their own points. In addition, traders can benefit from fee rebates of up to 60%, depending on their 30-day trading volume and overall ranking within the program. To determine rewards more accurately, the Momentum Program uses Slice Analytics to calculate a Perps Score for each wallet. This score is based on past trading activity and user behaviour across platforms such as Hyperliquid, Lighter, Variational, Paradex, Synthetix, GMX, Gains Network, and Avantis. Based on this evaluation, traders receive an instant allocation of points ranging from 0 to 10,000. The score can also provide a Season 1 boost multiplier of up to 100%, increasing the number of points users earn from their future trading activity within the program.
