What is CPSE ETF?
The CPSE ETF is an exchange-traded fund that tracks the NIFTY CPSE Total Return index passively. The CPSE acronym stands for Central Public Sector Enterprises. This NIFTY CPSE index is made up of a collection of public enterprises from which the government intends to divest.

The CPSE ETF was launched in 2014 and was 1.45x oversubscribed. It is currently managed by Nippon AMC and has an AUM of over Rs. 19,000 crores. Until now, investors have been offered seven tranches, with the sixth FFO set to launch in 2020. CPSE ETF units are traded on both the NSE and the BSE.
