What is a bank commission?
An account replenishment commission is a fee the bank charges for certain services provided to its customers, including transfers, deposits, and withdrawals. Commissions are the second-largest source of income for banks after interest. A commission can be expressed as a fixed amount, such as 200 rubles per month for SMS notifications, or as a percentage of the transaction amount, such as 3% of the withdrawal amount. Banks can set minimum and maximum commission amounts. The client pays 2 percent, or at least 100 rubles, when withdrawing cash from a credit card account.
