A lot of new traders have unrealistic expectations when they start trading. The goal for every trader in the first year of trading should not to lose money, which is not the case with the new traders. they think they can make 100 to 500% profit per month which is the percentage of profits that professional traders are making per year.

I guess everyone has that dream of making as much money as possible, but it's not that easy.

Surely everyone aims to get rich but at the end of the day it depends on how realistic one is. We all want to achieve the best possible results, but there are traders who are able to keep their ground and others who aim too high. As a beginner it is best to be careful and cautious as being still new means you need to get used to the whole concept, the market, the risks, the use of indicators, analyses etc. It can be a bit overwhelming at first so better take small steps.

I think it is good to have goals, but still it is better to be realistic in your expectation, cause remember as higher your expectation as difficult emotionally will be to loose. Patience and good strategy are best friends of trader.
