Tom Demark, a well-known technical analyst and trader, pioneered the use of pivot points. Demark Pivots are not the same as the other sorts of Pivot Points that have been mentioned so far.

The conditional character of these pivot points is based on the connection between the starting and closing prices. Demark computes the upper resistance level as well as the lower support line using the number X.
