Cryptocurrency trading hours
Cryptocurrency markets are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but liquidity levels may fluctuate depending on the time of day. Traders attempting to analyze market fluctuations will need to take note of this small distinction. Unlike stock traders who compare the present price of a stock to its position at the close of trading the previous day, cryptocurrency traders look at the price exactly 24 hours ago. Cryptocurrency trading is conducted 24 hours a day, which affects how you analyze daily data. If you have a start and closing price, it does not always mean the market opened or closed at these prices. All it tells you is that at 0000 hours and 2359 hours, the coin involved was worth one thing or another, which, in essence, are cryptocurrency trading hours. A real close or an actual open doesn't exist.
